Hours of Operation

The library is open from 7:30 to 3:00 on school days for student use.

The library is open from 7:00 to 3:30 on school days for teacher use.

Expectations of Student Behavior

Students use a quiet voice.
No running or playing.
Follow Library procedures.
Treat books with respect.

Library Procedures for Students

1. Checking In: Place book on circulation desk above check-in sign.

2. Checking Out: Retrieve book from check-in and bring both books to computer. Current book must be returned before new book is checked out.
3. Library Cards: Students must have a library card to check out books.
4. Only one book at a time is to be checked out.

5. There are no fines for late or overdue books, however a student can not check out another book until the original one is turned in or paid for the full price of the book.
6. Notification to the media specialist or aide is necessary for use of computers.

A Student’s Responsibility

1. To conduct oneself in an orderly manner while in the media center.
2. To enjoy and take care of borrowed books.
3. To return books in a timely fashion.
4. To pay for lost or damaged books.
